Offering a low bio-persistent-solution, the papers are non-wetting to molten aluminum and feature low thermal conductivity, excellent tensile strength, thermal stability, and resistance to chemical attack. Their wide variety of uses includes expansion joints, back-up insulation, gasket applications, and heat shields for kilns, home appliances, and even air bags. The papers facilitate energy conservation, and can also be used to develop economic lining solutions.
